I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT...

Almost five years ago, I had friends move from Calgary to Hamilton. They lived here for about 9 or so months. While here they gave birth to their second child. We were all very sad when this family moved back to Calgary.

Well folks here it is!!! Our prodigal family is returning!!! I am so excited to announce that at the end of January the Jolliffe family will be returning!!!

Steve is a Canadian Postal worker who is transferring to Hamilton. Steve is married to a beautiful lady, Lori. Lori is a stay at home mom, an amazing cook/baker and loves the craft world. Lori and Steve have two beautiful children. Emma is 6 (either that or about to turn 6). Emma is in grade one and has a lovely spirit. Oliver is Steve and Lori's second child. Oliver has given them a few scares with his health and has sure kept them on their toes with medical appointments. Today Oliver is 4 years old and surpassed most of the medical expectations set for him. Oliver is a "normal" child, full of life and often is quoted by his parents as they share his funny conversations.

I am thrilled to have my friends move close by again and thrilled that we can welcome one of our FRWY families home again!

Some things to pray for as the Jolliffe's prepare to head this way...
  • Preparing the kids for changing, cities, schools, leaving family and friends and meeting all of us crazy people.
  • Steve as he changes cities of work.
  • Lori as she packs up their belongings and chooses what needs to come and what needs to be left or given away.
  • Finding a house from across the country (I have been working with the well known Tom White as I look at houses they find).
  • For a safe trip as they drive across the country.
If you would like to email either of them please let me know and I will pass on their email addresses to you.

YIPPPPPIIII!!!

I am so excited for all of you. I tried to talk her into moving down to South Dakota but she declined. :)

My thoughts and prayers are definitely with all of them.

Thanks for your love and support of Steve and Lori and the kids. We much appreciate you so much. We know they will be received with open arms and that gives us such peace. We will miss them but we know they are following God's leading.
