Pernell is away this week. He comes back lat Thursday, early Friday. The kids are being so good this week and everything is going pretty well.

One of the ladies from work took Jake and I out for lunch yesterday. It was lovely to see her and so kind to think of me on her week off work!

Today another one of the ladies was supposed to come over for lunch. I made a marble sweet potato cake (amazing!!! I will post the recipe another time), chicken salad sandwiches, side salad, coffee, and juice. She never showed up...

Oh well, I guess I will take the cake to the moms in the schoolyard tomorrow.
