Lucas and I were still suffering from a lingering flu so, we got had to stay home from church tonight. We put a shelf together, put all the kids movies on it and in the process of unpacking the kids movies (yes we moved in June) we were impressed with the "new" selection we had to pick from.

Lucas picked a movie (which I think belongs to the Churches but may have been shuffled into a box at packing time), we snuggled, ate plain popcorn, drank ginger ale (I prayed it wouldn't flow out of my back door as everything else has) , and Lucas commentated the whole movie.

I had a blast! Lucas is now eating a bowl of vanilla ice cream, because, "Did you know vanilla ice cream always makes you better mom?" How could I say no to him?

Definitely an evening I will remember! Love my Lucas!
