While driving me to work the other day Lucas asked Pernell if he knew what his teachers name was. Pernell said yes and told him. Pernell asked Lucas if his teacher was married. Lucas responded that he didn't know and he would ask her. I piped up and said in fact her title was Mrs. Pernell then said to Lucas that she was married because she was a Mrs. Lucas said, not all adults were married. Pernell said that is true. Some we wonder why and some we don't wonder why. Like Melissa B... why isn't she married. She is so wonderful... Lucas said matter of fact, "she's not married 'cause she is a teenager." Pernell said she was almost the same age as him. Lucas responded, "oh... you're older?"

The other day was Nathan's b-day. Sam prepared to send him an e-card. While she wrote in it she off handedly asked how old he was. I said, 22. She looked at me and said, "Oh, I thought he was in his thirties!"
