The kids went into school so well today! I was still a little teary... but that seems to be my job these days... I cry for everyone around me!

Quick little conversation to make us all smile (from last night)...
Me- "How was school Luke?"
L- "Good."
Me- "What did you do?"
L- "Stuff."
Me- Can you tell me at least one thing you did?"
L- "Think back to when you were in school..."
Me- "...ok..."
L- "That's what I did!"

Well today Pernell and I went to meet Jakes teacher. Jake thought it was great. Man oh man could that lady chat! She seemed like a lovely lady and had a real heart for the kids and keeping them safe. Next Thursday is the big day! THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR MY BABY... that should be... well you've read my last posts! Watch out Kleenex box!

Until then, I will enjoy my every moment I have with Jake. Cherish the fact that he is my youngest and celebrate him growing up. Hard, yet... this part of life.

You little Jakey is such the cutie. It's been fabulous hanging out with him these last couple days. One of my favorite memories so far is when he was sitting down to eat some Kraft Dinner and asked me 'Do these clothes make me look fat?' Oh, and another one. As he went out on the back porch to check the weather, he sees a squirrel. In his ever so excited voice he says 'Oh look!! It's a squirrel!! Hi Mr. Squirrel!! Have a great day!!' Holy crap, just writing that has made me a tad teary. LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE!! WHY IS HE SUCH A CUTIE?!?!?!?!?!
