Sad news

A close family friend on my side of the family died yesterday. We saw this coming yet it doesn't make it any easier. It is especially sad for my mother as it is yet one more friend her age dying. I heard for the first time a difference in her voice as she spoke of her friend. A sadness with a touch of fear or maybe reality of where she is in life. I couldn't imagine watching my friends being old and start to loose spouses.

So today I pray for his wife, his children, his grandchildren and friends.
