Why can't I figure this out?

Monday, May 01, 2006

When I cook noodles, I usually spoon one up out of the pot to see if it is ready. Why is that every time it is burning my fingers so I toss it in my mouth? If it is too hot for my fingers... IT IS TOO HOT IN MY MOUTH!

Stop laughing 'cause I know all you moms out there do the same thing!

Not just parents even - I do the same thing. Get burned every single time I cook noodles. I rebelled once, I didn't test. They weren't cooked. Crunchy hot noodles are gross.

No,no,no. You drop the noodle on the counter and by the time you're able to pick up the slimy little thing, it's cool!

Um, I guess I have been burned one too many times cause I stopped doing this. :)

Can you blame it on mommy brain? That is my excuse for everything. LOL

I always take it up with a spoon, try a little catapult action and fling it against the wall - if it sticks - it's ready

    TRY IT!
