You know your kid's tonsils are big when...

Thursday, June 23, 2005

the doctor says, "So that is where Tiger Woods keeps them!"

Jake got tested for allergies today. He is not even remotely, slightly, kinda, could be, possibly allergic to anything... Yeah!

The doctor (who was amazing with Jake, and liked my sandals) quickly said he would get me into a ENT. I responded that my doctor had done both referrals for him as well as next week I was going to see the ENT. Mr. Doctor man was very happy (as he helped Jacob trap the last monster in the room and put it in a cage) and was even happier to hear which one I was going to, "Oh great, you are in great hands, because those will defiantly be coming out!"

So I am happy and sad. The doctor totally knew all of Jakes symptoms even as a baby without asking me (maybe he was stalking me... and had been peeking in my windows as Jake grew up...)yet it is scary to think of Jake having a surgery.

And on a side note... Lucas has had a cold for just under a week. Took him to the doctor today, because he has miserable the whole afternoon... he has tonsillitis.

Honestly... oh dear...

He will be fine when all is said and done. Remember Daniel has had two surgeries and has been great!

And you need to stop being sad cos it's almost coconut rum time!

It is scary a bit for the unknown. I got to go in for one of Oliver's surgeries, that helped ease things a bit. You are a strong gal Margie, all will be well. Hugs!

    (((Big Hugs)))
Surgery is scary but just think of how good he will feel when he is done.

So sorry about the tonsilitis. Isn't summer suppose to be a time of health? Sheesh!
