I don't know why this irritates me so much, but the people who live behind my house and accross the street, STILL put their Christmas lights on each night... they are flashing lights. When sitting or walking in the living room, I can just catch them every once in a while out of the corner of my eye, as they flash through the cracks in the fence.

I'm still not sure why this irritates me so much!?!?

    ...you went right up to that house (a gorgeous mansion in Toronto I might add) and knocked on their door to ask why they still had their lights up in February. The look of shock on that poor woman's face.

    That was about 10 years ago. I guess some pet peeves last a long time!

    It is one thing to leave them up but entirely another to keep them on. Maybe you should hang a sign on the fence that says, "The holidays are over!" LOL
