I went to IKEA on Friday with Sharlene (she didn't know about the as is section). On the way we had a deep conversation... I still feel like I don't have the complete and true answer to this question.

Shoes by the side of the highway... Huh?... How?... Why?... I really just don't get it!

Please help me figure this out!!

(We passed 7 on the 20 minute drive to IKEA. Wow!)

    This has always bothered me. Do people just toss shoes randomly out the window? Forgetthem on top of their car? What????? Why is it only one shoe and not a pair and why is it always on teh highway?

    I think they belong to our guardian angels and we're driving too fast, so they run to hide and don't have time to take their shoes :). Perhaps it's a hint to slow down?

    OR, maybe they belong to invisible people, who's shoes aren't invisible?

    OR, maybe people are just kooky? Some combination of all of those? :D
