Apples

Saturday, October 16, 2004

At 9:00am, I packed up the car, buckled the kids in, and headed to the USA! I met my mom in Batavia, which is the approximate halfway point from our two houses. We went to an apple orchard and had a picnic. The wind was blowing, the air was cold and there was a playground within reach of our picnic table so the kids didn't want to sit and eat. We had so much fun!!!!

When we finished eating we got a wagon and went picking. Lucas ate 4 apples, Jake ate two halves from two different apples, and Sam ate 3 apples. I climbed trees and passed apples to my mom who then ran after Jake who was pulling the wagon away down the lane, put the apples in the wagon, brought the wagon back and we started all over. We had so much fun!!!

When we finished picking we went to McDonalds and the kids were treated to ice cream by Grammy. They were so good! Mom and I chatted and we had so much fun!!!

We arrived home at 5:30pm.
I am happy! I have a lot of apples in my house!

AHHHHHHHHH!!!
