Why I love him soooooo much!

When I went to put Lucas to bed last night, he said "Lets get to bed I want my birthday!" This morning Lucas tapped me on the shoulder at 6am and said "who are those presents for?" (We open presents first thing on our children's b-days in our bed, so we put them at the foot of our bed.) I responded to Lucas, "They are for you, how old are you?" He responded "Do I look five?" Me- "Wow I thought there was something different this morning." Lucas "Well you knew it was my birthday."

Happy Birthday to my Five Year Old Boy!!!! Where has time gone?!?!?!?

Pernell did great with Lucas' birthday and has lived to tell the tale... one more sleep and Sam turns 7 and the next birthday party will start!

Hard to believe it's been five years since Sam came to spend the night with us.

    - Peace

Ya I have the SAME memory. Weird hey, Sam came and slept at our house when Margie went into labour. How is it that Lucas can already be grown up?

Wow! Happy Birthday to the BIG five year old!

I like your tradition of opening presents first thing in the morning. My kids would be up all night waiting for the first sign of daybreak though! LOL
